The Aorigata shape has a kozuka-hitsu-ana on the left front and a skillful engraving of the God of War (Hachiman) holding his traditional sword and storehouse in his hands surrounded by gold in layed leaves with a face of silver

Used in Ikebana flower arranging. Very intricately made with woven split bamboo. It has been in storage for many decades and with the exception of a few signs of wear and loose strands of bamboo on the handle it remains in good condition. Height = 18" (46cm) Diameter = 7" (18cm)
