Chile, Republic. A Star For Ancachs, Ii Class Silver Grade, C.1900 GTRexclude 860 mm from the collar(Estrela por batalla de Arcach). Instituted in 1839. In silver with red, white and green enamels, measuring 44. 3 mm (w) x 48 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced suspension, the white enamels having chipped off and been replaced by white paint on the star on the obverse and on the centrepiece ring on the reverse, chipping in the green enamels on the wreaths on both sides, on incorrect ribbon, fine.
