Germany, Kriegsmarine. An E-Boat War Badge, By C. Schwerin & Sohn, 2Nd Pattern, Variation 1 Hold 46mm (suspension 16x20mm)(Zerstrerkriegsabzeichen). A badge constructed of gilded and silvered zink, in the shape of a gilded oval, oak leaf wreath, held together by a band at the centre bottom, in the centre at mid height is a silvered E Boat speeding to the left through breaking waves, the top of the badge is crowned by a national eagle with spread wings, looking left, reverse, with a center catch for stabilization and a horizontal banjo style pinback with a short barrel
