Prussia, Kingdom. An Order of the Red Eagle, IV Class Cross, by Wagner & Sohn Newly Listed and measures 780 mm (w)(Roter Adler Orden, Kreuz IV. Klasse). Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. (1864 1918 issue). Constructed of silver with enamels, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a hand painted Prussian imperial eagle, the reverse bearing a central raised monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, the twelve oclock arm topped by a sphere through which is loop a suspension
