A Minesweeper War Badge, by Rudolf & Karneth & Söhne consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac superimposed on a black rayon/wool(Kriegsabzeichen fr Minensuch , U Boot Jagd und Sicherungsverbnde). Constructed of gilded and silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a mobile swastika, surrounding a depiction of an exploding sea mine, the reverse with a block hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Rudolf Karneth & Shne,
