Saxony, Kingdom. An Albert Order, I Class Knight’s Cross with Swords, by Alfred Rösner Hold consisting of a Maltese Cross(Albrechtsorden Ritterkreuz I. Klasse mit Schwerter). Instituted 31 December 1850 by King Friedrich August II. (1899 1918 issue). Constructed of gilded silver with multi coloured enamels, consisting of a Latin Cross with white enameled arms joined through the quadrants by a circular green enameled oak leaf wreath, the obverse overlaid by a central white enameled medallion bearing a raised and rightward facing profile of Duke Albert III, situated
