Constructed of a pressed card stock shell with a faux dark blue leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a gilt inscription of LUFTWAFFE BORDFUNKER ABZEICHEN, the interior with a slotted blue felt medal bed retrieved from a presentation case for a high grade Wound Badge, closing with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of a late war case
