Germany, Weimar Republic. A Life Saving Medal, with Case, by the Prussian Mint Hold Footnote: This medal was instituted(Erinnerungsmedaille fr Rettung aus Gefahr der Republik Preuen). Instituted 9 June 1925 by the Ministry of the Interior. (1925 1936 issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a raised German national eagle circumscribed by an inscription of REPUBLIK PREUSSEN (REPUBLIC OF PRUSSIA), the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of FR RETTUNG AUS GEFAHR (FOR RESCUE FROM DANGER), situated within a circular oak leaf wreath executed in high
