A Medal Of Suffering For The Nation, II Class, 1936-1937 Period Issue consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac maker marked “Bonner Fahnenfabrik” on(Medalla de Sufrimientos por la Patria 1938). Instituted in 1908. Two piece construction, in silvered bronze, unmarked, measuring 37 mm (w) x 42. 3 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, contact marks evident on the reverse, original ribbon, suspended from a traditional horizontal hanger with pinback, near extremely fine.
